New Members

New Short Mat Bowls members, both from existing Wells Club members and from outside are very welcome to just come along to one or more of our sessions and see how they get on. All standards of ability are catered for, from the novice to expert, and coaching is available at no extra charge – we also have a few sets of bowls for you to practice with.

Members are expected to wear the standard dress i.e. grey trousers or skirts, white tops and appropriate bowls shoes

Most sections compete in various inter-club competitions (usually Thursday afternoon 12.45 for 1.00pm although there is no obligation for any member to take part)

During the year we play both home and away matches against clubs in the United Friendly League
