Woodford Wells Mens 3rd team won the Essex Junior
Cup II in sweltering sunshine at the Wells yesterday, the match
finished 4 sets all and was decided by the equivalent of a penalty
shootout as 1 player was selected from each pair to play a championship
tie-break which the Wells won 10-8. A fuller match report will follow.
In the Men's Intermediate Cup Woodford Wells Mens 2nd team went
down fighting against Danbury 1st team, losing the match narrowly
by 5 sets to 4.
