WWCC Junior/Colts cricket 2021
Welcome to the new season at the Wells – Please read this fully and please contact Guy Peddy – email@example.com 07970 783165 if you have any queries or can help us during the season in any way.
Polish off the membership cards – IMPORTANT Access to the Wells in the coming weeks
Inline with Club policies during the re-opening of the Wells and reflecting the government roadmap out of lockdown with restrictions in place until June 21st at earliest, the club is Members-only. We hope that as many parents join as members where possible to enjoy the facilities on offer. Parent-members are allowed into the club as per normal but must always follow the social distancing rules.
Reflecting Child Welfare Guideline there is one exception for Friday nights:
For 8 years old and younger – One non-member parent will be allowed in the club.
For 9 years old and above – Parent-members only.
On Fridays the use of the bar is for Members-only and payment will only be via Members cards. The BBQ will accept cash.
On match days, one non-member parent for spectating-only will be allowed into the Wells. Parent-members are of course allowed open access but should apply all social distancing rules. This reflects ECB and government guideline: Spectators are not permitted with the exception of safeguarding purposes (one parent, guardian or carer per child (under 18) or disabled participant).
Remember all these rules on spectators are subject to change so please keep aware of updates. Details of the Wells guest policy (in attached link https://www.woodfordwellsclub.co.uk/membership ). Going forward, General Committee have announced a positive change for this year. When the club is fully open (hopefully from 21 June) members will be able to bring a guest 6 times a year (in total, not per guest).

The link is also below. The only item exclusive to cricket will be the training top which has the sponsor's logo printed on it. When you buy the training top please indicate in the comments sections that you require the RJK logo printed.
Our playing kit has not changed and can be purchased from Surridge Sport - See link below.
Event and sponsorship roles
The Cricket Committee is also looking for support in two new roles: events and sponsorship/commercial. If anyone has any skill sets that can optimise these positions, please let me know.
1) Event position – this will be to manage cricket’s formal events such as cricket week, cricket dinner, PCA masters.
2) Sponsorship position – this will be to manage the cricket sponsorships and to build relationships with local businesses. Much of the “Club” sponsorship is generated by the cricket section, hence the importance of this role.
