Squash Social

Friday 15th September.

Calling all players: team players, budding team players, social players - we want everyone to join us for an evening of squash and food.

6:00 - 8:00pm: Team Recruitment.

Team players and anyone interested in team squash - get in the mood for the new season and have a friendly hit with all team players. For those of you considering team squash it will be your chance to meet and play with some of the current players.

6:30 - 7:30pm: Challenge Gareth.

Quick fire games - first to 5 points, player on the night getting the most points receives a prize. This is your chance to pit your skills against our resident squash professional (highest world ranking 274, 13 years on the PSA tour) at either squash or racketball. Think you can hit 5 rolling nicks as that’s what it’ll probably take!!

£1 per challenge - as many times as you like (time permitting)

7:30pm - end of play: Vets final.

To end the evenings squash we have a final between two very contrasting styles of squash:

Jon Caton (tenacious, determined, never say die approach) versus

Patrick Osborn (no matter which type of racket you put in his hand, it’s like a wand spreading magic and uniqueness - frustrating to play but fascinating to watch)

8:30pm - bar afterwards.
