SQUASH & SQUASH57

The Squash and Squash57 section of the Woodford Wells Club caters for players of all standards and has over 140 active members. Squash has been played at the Club for many decades and Squash57 has become increasingly popular over recent years.

There are 4 courts, one of which is a glass back with seating, all doors are glass backed and there is a viewing gallery for all courts. During the Winter season the club runs four men’s teams and one ladies team in the Essex leagues. In the Summer season teams are entered into the Essex Summer league.

There are internal team leagues / ladders for both squash and Squash 57 which cater for all abilities, ages, and fitness levels.

A squash social night is held most Friday nights from 6.00pm, which caters for squash and Squash57 players of all ages and standards. The club night is popular and attracts a number of team, league and social players which gives players of different standards the opportunity to play each other and improve. The social night is often followed by a drink in the Club bar. It provides a great way for new members to meet club members in a relaxed and friendly environment.

The Club has three accredited squash coaches who are available for individual and group coaching sessions. Please see the Double Dot Coaching page for their contact details.

We have a thriving junior section with junior sessions run by our coaches at various points. These are available on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. As times of sessions do change over a period of time, it is best to contact the Club and or coaches directly to confirm the timings of sessions.
