Woodford Wells Club Crostyx Centenary Ball

The 2020/2021 hockey season was a landmark event in the history of the Woodford Wells Club as it marked the 100th anniversary of Crostyx Hockey Club as the hockey section of WWC. As we start to look forward to a return to social activities at the club, we are delighted to confirm that preparations for our Centenary celebration are in full flow.

Given the events of the last 12 months we hope that all sections of the Woodford Wells Club will join together to celebrate this milestone and to take the opportunity to reunite with fellow members past and present.

The event is open to past and present Club members and their spouses or partners and we encourage current members to contact old team-mates and friends of the Club to join in the celebration. Numbers will be limited so reserving tables will be strictly on a first come, first served basis.

The evening will start with reception drinks and canapes, followed by a four-course dinner in a marquee and then dancing to a great band. For those who would prefer to chat and socialise rather than listening to the band and dancing there will be a relaxed area to enjoy coffee/tea and cheese & biscuits.

Tickets have been set at £75 a head to try to encourage all members to share in this celebration, and to help us plan the very best occasion possible we need your support and commitment by booking and paying for your tables early!

Tables will generally be made up in 10s and must be booked on-line through the Club website with one member taking the lead and entering the names of their party and providing any dietary requirements.  When booking a table of 10, please select 10 tickets and add in the details for each guest of your table when prompted.

We encourage you to organise tables with your friends and team-mates rather than leaving the seating arrangements to us but if you would like to come to this grand reunion event and are not part of a group of 10 you can still book a ticket on-line and we will organise a suitable club table for you.

We are conscious that we may not have reached all past members who might like to attend a night like this so please forward to anyone you know who might be interested.

We are optimistic and hopeful that there will be no more setbacks due to the pandemic but if government guidelines prevent us from going ahead with this event in September you will receive a refund for the full ticket price.
